Morvillo Abramowitz Hosts Legal Outreach Summer Interns for Over 30 Years

The firm had the privilege of hosting four rising sophomores from the Legal Outreach summer internship program. Legal Outreach is a nonprofit organization in New York that centers its work on preparing underserved students for higher education and professional careers by exposing them to legal education and the legal profession.  During the summer internship program, high school students spend their summer participating in various weeklong internships at law firms and large companies in the city.  During their week with us, the students visited with two federal judges, witnessed a sentencing, and learned about criminal law from partners at the firm.  Their week culminated in a mock oral argument coordinated and judged by the Office of the Appellate Defenders.  It has been an honor to partner with Legal Outreach for over 30 years, and to host these brilliant students - we know the future is bright in their hands!
